Where we work
Leeds, Harrogate,
and between.
Two teams, one job each at a time. The radius is set by what two teams can actually reach, which is why we turn down work further out rather than subcontract it to someone you have never met.
Headingley
Back-to-back and through terraces, where the 40 cubic metre allowance decides the dormer before taste does.
Chapel Allerton
Large semis with generous ridge heights. The easiest loft stock in the city.
Roundhay
Detached and double-fronted, so the 50 cubic metre allowance and a rear extension often both fit.
Horsforth
Inter-war semis with shallow pitches. Hip-to-gable is usually the answer here.
Ilkley
Conservation area in much of the centre, which rules out a front dormer before we start.
Otley
Stone terraces on a slope. The party wall conversation starts early.
Wetherby
Newer estates with trussed roofs, so the structural work is the larger part of the cost.
Harrogate
Victorian stock with high ridges and strict conservation rules, in roughly equal measure.
